Children ages 5 – 10 will enjoy the warm and loving atmosphere, the music and the creative lessons. Parents are welcome to attend adult classes, knowing their children are learning about how God loves them, and how each of us must learn to love and respect each other. Classes are held every other Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and include dinner. For information on children's classes please email mouzhan@yahoo.com
Bahá'ís refer to those who are approximately 12 to 15 years old as Junior Youth. They represent a special group with special needs as they are somewhat in between childhood and youth when many changes are occurring within them. The process of spiritual and moral education can exert its maximum effect and the spirit of the Word of God can directly affect the character of a new generation. The first Saturday of every month Devotional Gatherings are held at 9:30 a.m., we meet at to enjoy a light breakfast and read sacred writings from scriptures of the major world religions, focused on a particular spiritual theme. We invite everyone to share prayers and songs of praise from their respective faiths. For information on devotional gatherings please email vojdanis@yahoo.com A group of people come together with a tutor to work through a book, which contains passages and questions on a particular topic. Groups will consider how the material studied applies in their own lives, and there is scope for members to express their learning artistically. The first book in the series is entitled 'Reflections on the Life of the Spirit' and focuses particularly on the topics of prayer, and life after death. Anyone can join a Study Circle. New ones are starting up all the time.
